Shooting your own un-armed countrymen isn’t a war. In 1944/45 we shed blood for China and the bloody Commies ended up taking over. The PLA couldn’t win an arm-farting contest. In Jan.1978 they invaded Vietnam and by the end of Feb.’78 they were running back out of it as fast as they could.

Rather, I would suggest that we shed blood with the Chinese.
Mao and Chang kai shek were (in theory) allies with us against the Japanese.
