At least the guy had the sense to get of the states, he’s in Hong Kong, good luck getting him back from there.
First, he said: “Most of the secrets the CIA has are about people, not machines and systems, so I didn’t feel comfortable with disclosures that I thought could endanger anyone”. Secondly, the election of Barack Obama in 2008 gave him hope that there would be real reforms, rendering disclosures unnecessary.
He said he voted third party. He probably voted Libertarian. He also said he had high hopes for Obama to end the policies of his predecessor, so that says something about his politics.
Still, doing this is very brave. He is fully aware of how much danger he is in.
My suspicions exactly...what’s his angle for attacking Americans and America’s defenders, the patriots who believe in the objective of the Founding Fathers and their intent in the US Constitution.
