Breaking: NSA Eavesdropped on People Whom They Had Personal Grudges (Audio)
Gateway Pundit ^ | June 7, 2013 | Jim Hoft

Renee Montagne from NPR spoke with liberal columnist and author Glenn Greenwald, the reporter who co-wrote the stories for the British newspaper The Guardian, today on the massive data-mining scandal.

Greenwald dropped this bomb during the interview.

“There are reported examples of the NSA, analysts at the NSA, using mechanisms they have access to. ABC reported several years ago through whistle blowers that they have used it to eavesdrop on people on whom they have personal grudges. There are isolated examples of the Patriot Act being abused. The problem is that the entire system operates behind a wall of extreme secrecy.”

Here’s Greenwald on NPR this morning:

But surely the Obama administration would not eavesdrop on political opponents.

Right?

". . . . trust"?

13. "If once the people become inattentive to the public affairs, you and I, and Congress and Assemblies, Judges and Governors, shall all become wolves. It seems to be the law of our general nature...." - Thomas Jefferson-1787

One thing is for certain: America's Founders and Framers of its Constitution understood human nature and the human tendency, seen over and over again in history, to abuse power.

Further, "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." - C. S. Lewis

All who doubt the wisdom of Lewis might watch the video of the President's remarks at an earlier National Prayer Breakfast. There, Obama arrogantly misappropriated Jesus's spiritual challenge to individuals, claiming those words as validating and authorizing abusive use of coercive power by himself and his cronies to "take" from some in order to buy votes and accumulate more power to themselves--all in the name of "helping" the beneficiaries of such unconstitutional "takings."

Hear Samuel Adams:

"Is it now high time for the people of this country to explicitly declare whether they will be free men or slaves. It is an important question which ought to be decided. It concerns more than anything in this life. The salvation of our souls is interested in this event. For wherever tyranny is established, immorality of every kind comes in like a torrent, it is in the interest of tyrants to reduce the people to ignorance and vice.” - Samuel Adams

Yes, that is what they want.

Thank you for posting that.

We should never forget what tyrannical dictators often have as their goal, and many accomplish such goals. Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot - to name a few. Also whichever Turk was in charge of Turkey when all those Armenians were butchered. And that Mozlems have butchered many millions throughout history - mass slaughter of civilizians, not just on the warfield.

There is no doubt in my mind that the commie/muzzie cabal wants to kill millions.

Oh, does the article say he had nothing to read? I will click the link. If he was talking without reading, that’s very interesting. You’d think someone would typed up something for him to read. Maybe some people are getting a little freaked out.

Yet again, libs like Greenwald are trying to tie this story back to Bush.

I agree: These are on the order of war crimes. We have people in our intelligence community giving aid and comfort to our enemies (by not protecting us against known jihadists) , meanwhile spying on American citizens and calling them the enemy.

Can you imagine, during WWII, if Nazis had gained access to our OSS, allowed Nazi forces to enter our country knowingly, perform acts of war against us on our own soil, then used the FBI and OSS to spy on and intimidate American citizens?
They deserve arrest, trial, conviction, then imprisonment, or the ultimate penalty for treason.

If they aren't arrested and punished for this, we are in for a reign of terror that will either finish off conservatives or start CWII

Absolutely nothing. The could dump encrypted child porn on your computer and you wouldn’t even know it. Then a no-knock raid - where you’d be shot “resisting” - with post-hoc justification by showing you had child porn “hidden” on your computer. Easy and most would cheer them for taking out a perv.

/”you” and “your” are metaphorical, not actually you...

Perhaps the Boston victims were closely related to Obama’s enemies.

Impeachable? No way, it’s arrestable, as in treason. These crimes - all of them - need arrests.

Right after we have had the chance to drag their asses out of their offices, tar and feather them and leave them for the rats!

One thing I can't stand is a traitor!

If you go to the original NPR site, the comments from the NPR libtard fangirls are a bunch of Limbaugh Theorem “Bush’s Fault” tripe.
