Workers at a tsunami-crippled Japanese nuclear plant are scrambling to find the cause of a highly radioactive water leak from a brand-new storage tank amid concerns that the problem is hampering cleanup efforts.

The radioactive crap they continue to dump in the Pacific ocean has already contaminated the west coast of North America. The rain carries it onto land where the green plants concentrate it and place it in the food chain. The half life is 30,000 years. Slowly, we are accumulating radioactive contamination from our food. It doesn't end well and there is little you can do aside from making sure your water is filtered and your produce is rinsed with filtered water to reduce the rate at which you accumulate radioactive waste.

the leak stopped after some of the water inside the faulty tank was moved to two adjacent containers, but that its cause was still unknown.Here's an idea - maybe a crack in the tank above where the lowered water level is.
