The Sodomites are starting to consolidate their victory over the healthy portion of society.

As a patriot from a family with over four generations of military service, it pains me to say that I have strongly recommended to my two teenagers not to even consider military service, making them the first generation since the civil war not to serve. But if you are a conservative or traditional Christian, you really have no business serving in the military under it's current immoral leadership (and I'm speaking of far more than just Obama).

today’s Army sucks!

I’m glad I served almost sixty years ago.

"Anyone who thinks the majority of our nation’s currently serving Generals and Admirals aren’t part of the problem just hasn’t been paying attention."

Yes, you are right. Soon to be amended from "the majority" to "all." The Obama administration is working on that problem, you see.

I see some of the older, retired high ranking officers on FNC from time to time. They don't agree with the stench of perversion that this administration has created, nor do they agree with the general direction that the country is taking.

Well he did screw up mixing politics with the military. He’s welcome to have a DOMA party or an abortion party, but mix it with his promotion and it can be seen as crossing the line.

You have to be joking, or accidentally wandered onto the wrong website.

Was the unprecedented, improper allowance of uniformed military to participate in a "gay pride" parade last year crossing the line? Will it be this year?

Well he did screw up mixing politics with the military.

Raises interesting questions about how the members of our military are supposed to defend our Constituion.

I suppose if someone in our military had shown a Jane Fonda movie at a party, there would have been a reprimand also. Sure.

Okay, I grant you that this soldier was a bit "in your face" about his support of traditional marriage, but so what? It was a private party, given with his own funds. There was no violence against homos threatened or even hinted at.

Obviously, the military higher ups are becoming the thought police now, trying to ensure that everyone who serves agrees with the current administration's views, however perverted they may be.

How can a soldier be reprimanded for celebrating a law that the Commander-in-Chief is not enforcing?

I had the distinct honor and pleasure of serving with some very fine and honorable Admirals and Generals while I was on active duty. The current crop isn’t fit to shine their shoes.
Just my opinion.....

I think we need more details. If he was in civilian clothes, having a private party...he is allowed to do that, just as he is allowed to attend a political rally in civilian clothes.

Add to this, he was merely celebrating the law of the land - DOMA. It is very strange that supporting the law is considered bad behavior.

The only place where he could have gone wrong is if he was in uniform. And promotion ‘ceremonies’ usually involve being in uniform, and having the new rank pinned on. And, usually somebody in your chain of command is there to read the citation. If that happened...combined with the fact that this was a politically charged issue (involving the president’s very recent flip-flop on his position), it might be construed as improper. But I doubt that happened, since nobody in hos COC seems to have been reprimanded.

The admirals & generals that are enforcing this policy are complete airheads. They wouldn’t know enough about being a warrior to make a pimple on a good private’s butt. About the only thing they can do is play politics & kiss politician butts from DC. Time we dumped most of ‘em on the North Koreans & promoted a bunch of sgts. & CPO’s to their rank so we have some people that actually know how to fight a war instead of trying to enforce religious discrimination in our military. IF a muzzie did this, you would not have heard a PEEP!

same here, although my son is only 10 and i regale him with stories of my service, i close by saying todays Army is no place for a straight, conservative Christian. makes me sad, i love my country and am so very proud to have served under Reagan but there is no way I could send my, or any other kid off to todays military. the NCOs and EMs are some of the greatest fighters this country ever produced but the top brass stinks of political appointment and cronyism. God save America, if its not too late.
