A 16-year-old boy was one of two people shot dead and a 9-year-old boy riding in a car with his mother was among seven others wounded in separate shootings Wednesday on the city's South and Far South Sides.
About 6:30 p.m., two boys, ages 16 and 15, were shot on the 5100 block of South Washtenaw Avenue in the Gage Park neighborhood, police Officer Amina Greer said.

I truly do feel sorry for the families, regardless of race or political leanings, who try to live the right way but are simply too poor to escape the inner city ghettos. Of course, the same racism that used to force them to stay in the ghetto is now the racism that refuses to get tough with the criminals who make those ghettos such a living hell.
By excusing black violence and refusing to punish the miscreants, the Democrats perpetuate scenes like this and the unfortunate murders of so many children who wish only to escape in one piece.
It keeps people dependent on the authorities.
This is like the 8th or 10th collateral since that girl who had marched in ozero's innaugural.
Many of those you feel sorry for bear some responsibility because they undoubtedly voted for those idiots who act to increase and condone such acts of violence.
Bingo. The Left destroyed the Black family and now the results are tangible. I drove through East Oakland two days ago for work. If you don’t see the inner city close up, you really are lucky. It’s a multi billion dollar wasteland that one can only describe as “scorched Earth.”

East Oakland was a combat zone when I was there many years ago when I was there. Went back recently and it’s much worse which I never though possible.
That's where the rat party "base" of voters is located. All you can do is scratch your head that there are enough regular, working, taxPAYING familes who vote WITH that crowd to put rats in office on a statewide level in many states, and even get an inner city "community organizer" elected President! The suicidal stupidity of some people boggles the mind.
The only thing more stunning is the lack of accountability that the citizens expect from Rahm....
We all know Chicago is a gun free zone, but as long as a gun can be bought somewhere else in America, its not Chicago’s fault.
More like, oh say, Nevada’s fault. Or Wyoming. Other states simply aren’t adhering to Chicago gun control laws. That’s the problem.
