My solution is for all 8 of them to resign. They’re useless.
Right now no one is running against either Cornyn or George P. Bush for land commissioner — they get free rides. Perry could face Tom Pauken (never won statewide) and Greg Abbott. People in TX must think George P. is the “real deal” after all.
At this point, no one has announced against either Cornyn or George P. Bush. But Tom Pauken and Greg Abbott are running against Perry and Jerry Patterson and Todd Staples against David Dewhurst. People in TX still think Cornyn is “on their side”.
