Here in Houston area, there are cameras everywhere. Practically every cross street equipped with no less than 4 to 6 cameras.

An intersection up in Tomball, Tx has 11 cameras mounted in every direction.

This is bizarre. Montgomery co. Sheriffs office flying drone around the county, but insist their not used to spy on folks.

Cop cars retrofitted w/license plate scanners in various directions so squad cars can cruise through parking lots and rapidly process Tx. plates that have been reflectively enhanced and contain water marks for vision recognition.

Tx drivers lic. renewals now require both thumb prints at the time of renewal and digital image of your face for facial recognition capabilities.

I thought this was all conspiracy stuff....nope. TXDOT website details bio-metric efforts here in Texas.

Now the SCOTUS has put it's stamp on DNA swabbing of all folks arrested whether charged, convicted...or not.

It's all designed to keep the public safe. Well...1984, here we are.

Didn't know that. I guess it's something else I can hold against Perry's regime.
BTW- sandpaper does wonders on fingerprints.
