Never said what we did or when and where etc ..... Our blanket orders were fiscal year issues for world wide deployment.
We were six months in country some arenas before being asked why we were there.... Very small teams with a large bank and no accountability unless we colored outside the lines.
Sheep dipped to many alphabet agencies for long periods. Personal grooming waivers, civilian clothing allowance , .... Wasn’t even sure I was military some times.
Polidiots and presstitutes were the biggest security risks. Then and now.
Never tell the truth, do your job in a manner that will make your friends and family proud.
