Trucking regulations are very strict, especially if you’re transporting hazardous cargo. I find it ridiculous that a trucker can’t have a gun to protect himself and his rig when traveling around the country.

Truckers are hijacked all the time. They can be carrying cargo that is extremely valuable. Imagine what a trailer full of Iphone 5’s is worth? They pull over at truck stops to sleep almost every night. I know I’d want to be armed... I think I’d refuse to go to states that didn’t respect my right to defend myself. If the trucking industry would just boycott NY...
