When fascism comes to America, what will it look (and feel) like?
Very much like what we have now, because a version of fascism is already here.
I am not the first to worry about the prospect of fascism in America. In 1935, for example, Sinclair Lewis published It Can't Happen Here, which is a fictional account of a fascist take-over of the country. In 2008, Joe Conason published It Can Happen Here. The book's subtitle, Authoritarian Peril in the Age of Bush, tells all we need to know.

Just look at the liberal voters who happily support the political extermination of the GOP. After doing that, the next step is a logical one.
Revolt is coming.

If American history is a teacher, a second U.S. Civil War seems almost inevitable.
However, European history tells a different story...
War is certainly a very last resort. Its only through divine providence that the American Revolution didn’t end with a harsh dictatorship as virtually all do. The civil war had no real winners.
Progressives have always been fascists in disguise.
I agree - the IRS scandal proves that the Obama Regime is using the federal bureaucracy to attack freedom of speech and out of the game the loyal opposition.
I suspect this type of oppression will only get worse. The Republic is being destroyed before our every eyes in a thousands cuts, some large, some small.
But at some point the victim will bleed out...
On the other hand, it may not come to civil war.
The German people didn’t revolt against the Nazi Regime in 1933.
The American Republic may fade away quietly into the night like the German Republic did in 1933/34.
Today we see thru a glass darkly...
Well, for quite a few years, the “experts” have been telling us that we need to be more like Europe.
Like Glenn Beck said, “it’s nudge...shove...shoot” with these people.
We are in Stage Two of a fascist putsch against the Republic - and the clearly message is, “If you’re not with us, you are against us.”
There is a lot of fear in the nation.
And rightly so...

Fascism started in America when the idiots in Congress gave it’s law-making power to unelected bureaucrats and the fascist Supreme Court approved. One of the primary features of a dictatorship - communist or fascist - is unaccountable bureaucrats writing law.
We are transplanted Europeans...mostly - and all our original ideas on government and political philosophy came to us by way of Europe - the good and the bad.
Socialism - out of which the European intellectuals in the 19th/20th century invented many versions - to include democratic, communist and fascist - was one of those bad ideas.
I predict you will see very, very angry blowback, mark my words.
Revolt of the serfs is coming. Keep a close eye on all the gun sales that have been taking place.

At Stage Two (where we are today) in a collectivist overthrow of a Free Republic - no country has survived.
Especially when the only effective way to resist a fascist putsch is by civil war, whose outcome would be in doubt, and at the very least cause massive property damage and death.
But then America is an exceptional nation with well over hundred million people who aren’t going along with this slow motion coup.
These patriots are well armed....
