Is it a good place for a vacation. When a national government despises Paul Krugman they deserve my tourist cash. But what about Estonia women too?

It's a good place for a vacation -- I'd suggest a complete Baltic tour starting from Copenhagen through Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsinki, Talinn, Riga and then through to Vilnius. From Wilno/Vilnius take a bus to Poland's Mazury lake-side --> very beautiful. Then head to Gdansk and go down to Toruń (lovely 14th century town) and through Warsaw (we have lots of things that'll remind you about WWII -- don't forget the Muzeum Powstania Warszawskiego: the Warsaw uprising museum) and take a train to Kraków, spend 3 days there (see the old Jewish quarter of Kazimierz as well as the Old Town) and then head to either Beskid Sądecki or Bieszczady (the mountains -- either straight to the south or to the south-east: Bieszczady to the s-e has more to recommend, including a very nice skansen at Sanok, but Beskid Sadecki has easier hiking routes and nicer hill-top inns :)

the problem with the above route is that you’ll have to go through 6 different currencies

the ladies reminded me of 1950s America, a little.

not very wealthy, but not cheap sluts (though long term poverty could result in desperation). thin, not fat (don’t think i ever saw a fattie, let alone anything like the magnitude of the American fattie). they’re generally a bit taller then the average American woman and many have stunning blue eyes (really amazing, actually)

the major drawback (for me) was that most were smokers.

and you could probably make a mint opening a cosmetic dentistry practice

on a retail business note, the populace generally has lower income, so eating out is a treat. this means the number of restaurants are few in comparison to the US. could a good, inexpensive, restaurant do well? tough call. maybe. and yes the russian mob has a strong presence in Tallinn (through gambling and drugs, i believe. i avoided it all)

as for tech, as of a few years ago, i would put their skills on par with much of what i’ve seen in the US... about mid to senior level. i interviewed almost 100 people trying to fill open spots (after culling resumes) and had the same success rate i would generally have here.

one thing to note, the Estonians love Americans. Estonian, Estonians. the Russian Estonians are grumpier towards the US... but that was prolly more soar grapes as Russia use to be king sh*t in the area.

overall, i hope they do well. they seemed like honest, hard working people that are really enjoying their freedom and capitalism.
