No but it would shift from comparing this to Watergate to the real comparison: FDR's Great Sedition Trial of 1944.
As Ms Peggy Noonan pointed out Watergate was elites using the machinery of government to spy on elites. What's happening today is the Obama Adminstration using the machinery of government government to go after "little people." E.g., using the Obama/Holder Department of Just Us and Our People.
Nixon's Articles of Impeachment listed that Nixon was being charged with endeavoring to use the IRS and another agecny; in some cases the Articles of Impeachment did say that he used a third agency. They knew the difference.

The sedition was just a ruse to destroy anti-FDR and anti-communist "bloggers".
Once the little people of the opposition were disposed of the next targets would be the elite Republicans like Senator Taft and the publisher of the Chicago Tribune. Some believed.
