Religious tolerance is a vital part of a democratic society. But religious rules should never dictate society's laws. Some religions prohibit eating pork. Others prohibit drinking alcohol. Others prohibit divorce. That is their right. But we reject any attempt to impose those prohibitions on society. So is mayor BloomTurd saying that when the bill to legalize polygamy or incestuous marriage comes around he'll line up to support it, because "we reject any attempt to impose those prohibitions on society." ?

Thou shalt not kill is a religious law I guess it should not be imposed on society either. Three cheers for total lawlessness, as all religious ideas are outlawed. Added sarcasm tag. :-)

So religious rules should never govern society, eh?
So if I were to hack into his personal bank account and steal his money, he would have no right to complain now would he?
