50/50 Custody, or shared parenting is a good theory. But bad practice. It is not the answer.
The only way to effectivley solve child support and custody problems is to not divorce in the first place.
And there are plenty of easy answers to reducing divorce.

Certainly Child support (as implemented) is not the only cause but its sure an enabler. Its simply a payoff to the single Mom for being a single mom,
Judge Judy is a child support zealot and works lectures on it into every TV show case, claiming its for the kids even when cases come up where the single Mom's spend the child support on their new boyfriends, and while Judy may lecture the Moms she tells the fathers who are getting the shaft paying for it that is NONE OF HIS BUSINESS HOW SHE SPENDS HIS MONEY (child support payments.)
