There was quite a PC fuss over it and VW’s answer was, f*ck you. Actually, I was happy with their answer as I’m really sick of PC. As Freud said, “Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.” Sometimes a name is just a name.

VW certainly did. National Geographic once did a long colorful ticle about the Tuaregs and the population that serves them. NatG couldn’t quite get around to calling those serving folks “slaves” though, but it was apparent that slavery is the relationship.
