Competing with the Episcopalians.
It would be better for them to decide finally that at least for them having bishops is a failed church program. Then they can give up having this office. Turning over ownership of places of worship to the congregations would be another reform I'd advocate for them.
Then they'd be free to get on with trying to know God rather than indulging the proclivities of gay blades.
I believe the Episcopalian gay bishop in New England retired a year or two ago - are there others?
