Some people suggest the entire war was fought to protect opium production. If you look at a historical chart of opium production in Afghanistan, it supports this theory, but who knows.

You say "they" blow themselves up, but most Afghanis are just poor farmers with no stake in any of these conflicts. The terrorists are a small number of professionals, funded by various governments, including the US. You'd really nuke a bunch of innocent people just because they seem "primitive" to you?
