Report: China Steals $300 Billion of American Ideas Every Year Costing US Economy 2.1 Million Jobs
Gateway Pundit ^ | May 29, 2013 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 05/29/2013 4:53:44 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

A new study led by Dennis Blair, who served as President Barack Obama’s first director of national intelligence, and former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman, who served as U.S. ambassador to China from 2009 through 2011 found that the US loses billions in intellectual property to Chinese hackers every year. The report found that an estimated 2.1 million American jobs were lost due to intellectual theft.

The report recommends corporations hire what amount to full-time IT security guards who patrol their networks — assisted by automated systems that scan for software behaving strangely, a telltale sign of malware — looking for intruders.

The Chinese haven’t had an original thought in over 3,000 years.

Besides, China sells all that technology back to us with a profit. It keeps the world trade going.

What do you prefer — Chinese stealing our technology or muzzies jeopardizing our national security?

A friend of mine worked at Xerox in Upstate NY. He says they had a tour for some Chinese businessman. He also said they come for one thing....to steal ideas.

I seriously doubt that $300 billon figure .. that's a huge percentage of our annual defense outlay. I also seriously doubt they are costing us "21 million" jobs.

I do not, however, doubt the thread that China poses to us.

$300 billion.

That’s a bit vague by my standards.

Which American corporation “lost” the most money?

Which American corporation would have “created” the largest number of jobs?

Without a good business plan and great execution, ideas and R&D have no value at all.

I’d say way more then 300 bil. The fishing tackle business alone is 30 to 50 bil. The Chi-coms copy every idea as fast as we can come up with one and the major retailers support them. Cabelas, Bass Pro, Dicks ect... jump all over the cheap copycats and leave us mom and pop creators in the dust. Our only support comes from direct online and small stores who actually care about quality.

It said 2.1 million, not twenty one million.

Hmmm! That's a tough one, 353FMG! Here's a wild shot in the dark:

1.) Nuke Medina. Give the Islamic terrorist states 24 hours to sign unconditional surrenders and accept constitutions, or Mecca will go the way of Medina.

2.) Send communist China an invoice for all thefts from America during the past, say, five years, along with a note to indicate trade will be resumed when it's paid in full.

What's the rationale behind my thinking? You know how, whenever leftist extremists have to choose between two evils, they choose both? By the same token, it seems to this patriot if we have to choose between two good things to do for America, we should choose both.

So many times we see posts that say we owe them. I don't get it.

When are the Chi-Coms going to pay the rest of what they owe us?

United States Free Enterprise, INC.

INVOICE

Your Treasury certificates are your payment receipts. Thank you.

I believe that asians (as a group) are the most intelligent, followed in second place be caucasians. BUT,, creativity and Yankee ingenuity are something they lack. So they steal from us.
