True. Sadly, the time when you'd need the coverage the most is the moment you realize you need an ambulance. By the time you get through to a bureaucrat, you've already wracked up 100K in hospital bills with no insurance.

Take my word for it. Before we had our series of "emergencies" we thought we were in pretty good shape. 5 hospital visits for miscellaneous emergencies later and I had a change of perspective.

Want to hear the miracle of it all? I had decided to pay a little more for 100% coverage. It was expensive but I just didn't want to take a chance on exposure. Heck, I even prayed on it.

The second day coverage went active. I got creamed in a rear-ender that totaled my car. A year in therapy. It was the first of a series of hospital required incidents.

I thank GOD every day for motivating me to bump up that premium.

Next year, I'm pretty sure all that will go away. Businesses are going into "Duck and Cover" mode until Obama's gone, and "run and hide" mode if another socialist gets elected.

True enough. For now . . . we have excellent health insurance. I really hope that doesn’t change but have my doubts & worries. Yep, got rear ended 3 years ago, the day before we were leaving on vacation . . . the next day while touring, I fell and fractured my ankle, bi-mal . . . I still wonder IF that was partially due to the accident the day before as it was my foot that was on the brake pedal at the red light when hit from behind. We only sought repair damages for our vehicle, an Expedition, the other car was probably almost totaled due to the engine compartment buckling up like an aluminum can.
