If any parent, leaves their child in the scouts and in he future to where the case may come that they were molested, the parents did not protect the child. I blame the parent (s) There would be no way that I would have my child in the Boys Scouts nor have them enter in public education. No way. I would work 2 jobs to put them in a faith based school or a school of my choice. I would not allow my children to be told what is right or wrong while they are so immature and need guidance spiritually and educationally. This new faith we see now a days, is not the committed view of following the word of God. Churches need to be more vocal about this like gay marriage versus caving in due to the outside activists arm of the culture from this corrupt/sinful media. Imo.

People who had growing boys in the 90s, as I did, started to see these problems gaining steam. We had to leave one mainstream church because of the aggressive gayism, moved to a more rural church, then went through it again 10 years later. Most of the mainstream churches are infected now; those which are not will face years and years of assaults by "reproductively challenged" activists at their annual conferences.

For a number of years now, since I live in a large suburban "planned community" that has no churches within 7 miles, I've been participating or organizing a series of home churches, Bible studies or prayer groups, by invitation only. We do good works and have rules about not gossiping. I'm waiting to see how this new Pope turns out to decide whether to move to a Catholic parish for my next home, since these past two decades have been the homo-housecleaning in that institution.

I say these things not from bias, but from having lived and worked in the arts for 40 years and having seen and witnessed the heartbreaking behaviors and pathologies associated with gayness and lesbianism -- the drug abuse, the anxiety, the confusion, the unhealthful practices, the adrenaline junkies, the live-together couples whose only thing in common is homosexuality, the bad break-ups, the suicides. It simply can't be entirely the fault of homophobia. No homophobia is forcing anyone to engage in acts that I do not wish even to think about, much less put in writing.

To subject kids to this under the oath of "morally straight" is insanity.
