You two are unaware that the iRS was used to stop Conservative groups from partipating in the 2012 election.
And that Nate SIlver is an insider.
I believe you guys.
Start your education with a paper you must truly believe:
The Los Angele Times
We should start a class action suit against the IRS for voter fraud and supression....
IRS
Institutionalized
Republican
Suppression
No $hit, $herlock.
That's been patently obvious from the moment that conscious targeting of Tea Party groups was established.
It's hardly news.
Whether or not Silver, a baseball stathead, was in the scam is interesting -- at a certain level -- but largely irrelevant.
C'mon, be of good humor. We're just funnin' with ya.
Here's the thing - 501(c)(3) and (c)(4) groups are not supposed to "participat[e] in the 2012 election" (or any other election) in any meaningful way. Partisan political groups do not qualify for that status. So, I'm not sure that targeting conservative/tea party nonprofits would have stopped groups conservative/tea party groups from participating in the election, since the organizations that were targeted were not (or should not have been) involved in partisan political activities.
