If we wanted to break military stuff in Syria, the time to do it was on the way into Iraq.
I disagree with McCain nearly 90% of the time on foreign relations and with Obama essentially 100% of the time. I always know when an international issue comes up what position the communist in our White House will take - it’s the opposite of the position that would best serve American interests.
I confess that when I look at the two sides in Syria, I kinda just want to wall the country off and have the winner let us know they won. Sort of like the Russian Front during WWII.

The Russians should instead just ship them burnt scrap metal to start with and save them from the collateral damage.
Let the Russians have it and their nat gas monopoly in the EU. Natural gas isn’t worth dying over. If the Euros want to lay down their kids’ bodies for cheaper nat gas, let ‘em.
