Demonstrators call for 'pro life' policies

This Sunday saw 107 Marches for Life and Family held in many cities around Poland, including Warsaw, Krakow and Łódź. The marches were held under the slogan “Family is our direction” with organisers attracting attention to the demographic deficit the country is experiencing, with a declining number of couples deciding to have children.

Last year saw around 50 similar demonstrations in Poland.

According to Anna Borkowska-Kniołek from the organiser's Warsaw office, Poland is already at the bottom of the world list of countries as far as the number of children being born is concerned.

“In forty years' time the country’s population will shrink by as many as two million people. On top of that, if we do not act now in thirty to forty years we can expect a major economic crisis,” she told Polish Radio.

The participants of the pro-life and pro-family march in Warsaw also collected signatures in support of the European Civic Initiative for the protection of human life.

Hundreds of thousands of people in 107 cities all across Poland took to the streets to declare their support for pro-life and family values against the culture of death, especially against in-vitro as the liberals in the parliament have been trying recently to legalize it in the Polish law.

So far, the Polish liberals in the parliament have failed to introduce same-sex marriages and any other forms of homosexual unions into the law, while the adoption of children by homosexual couples is widely condemned by almost 90% of the Polish people and MPs in the parliament.

On the other hand, pro-life forces in the parliament too have failed by a narrow few vote margin in their attempt to delegalize any forms of abortion in Poland. So, for the time being, abortion is still legal in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy on condition that:

- pregnancy poses the threat to mother's life or to her health (three positive medical opinions required)

- pregnancy is a result of a rape or an incest

- fetus is irretrievably or seriously damaged

After the period of 12 weeks abortion is totally illegal in all cases.

This Sunday, June 1, pro-life demonstrations will be continued in numerous other Polish cities.

Just looking at the photos I figured out what type of rally this was. Obviously the STOP ABOR%%%% signs were a clue! But also the little kids, normal looking folks, and happy smiles.

A gal from my parish here in East Tennessee has just come back from Poland. I can hardly wait to see her pictures. I grew up in NW Pennsylvania, a very Polish blue collar milieu. The industries are gone now, and the Polish are in Tennessee. Which is a great advantage for us! :o)

So when the left turns this country in a complete totalitarian state, it looks like we might have found a place to escape to, Poland.

I love going to Poland.

This year it wasn't pure Poland in the streets.  The Scottish bagpipers made me feel as if I were in Edinburgh or so, not in Warsaw at all :)

WHAT A SPIRIT! B R E A T H T A K I N G !!!

IF the left doesn’t order us to invade such a nation. The Left hates war, but they love making war, if “for a just cause”.

Spent the past 2 springs in Poland, it was like living back in the 50’s. I’d move there if the fishing was good. They are not as multi cultural as some of the western European States. I guess they feel Poland is for the Polish, and after all, they have been kicked around a lot in the last century, so I can’t blame them.

Oh, this is too simplistic and correct to some extent only. The Polish people is open wide to native Europeans, Americans of Judeo-Christian origin, no matter the color of their skin is. Note that one of the right-wing conservative Polish MPs is a black man. He's a former Protestant pastor and he's widely respected all across the nation although his party is not. The only thing that does matter to us is the cultural background of the man, i.e. what one was born into and his attitude to the natural European identity. Naturally, the Russian hordes of  vodka stinking savages are not welcome here in Poland for obvious historical reasons. Millions of Poles were murdered in prisons and frosts of Siberia, millions escaped from the fate immigrating to the USA (estimated 10 millions)  Besides, believe me or not, they hate you, Americans and Israelis alike (why Israelis? I don't know)  even more than in the Soviet times. They know the Soviet Union was defeated by you in the Cold War and they will never forget to whom they owe these simple facts.

You see, we don't want Islamic dirt-bags which e.g. turned good old proud Western Europe into the real nightmare and all those awesome European metropolis like Paris or London into Islamic slums. Where is Europe of Charles Martel. Joan of Arc, Richard the Lion Heart or queen Victoria? This is a rhetorical question only.

To make things worse, all around Europe the so called "political correctness" pushes Christianity back into Catacombs. In Western Europe, Jesus Christ has been banned from schools, hospitals, nurseries, offices, army and the police - from everywhere. Even churches are being closed or turned into hotels or night clubs. We can see that perfectly and that is what we try to prevent our country from at all cost.

So, do not expect any indulgence or tolerance from the vast majority of the Polish people to that liberal-Islamic reality, especially to the scum like the one that murdered Lee Rigby.

Happily, it's still not that bad in Poland. We still stand and do not kneel before those liberal-muslim idols although, alas, we know we sometimes lose that war, painfully...

Besides, believe me or not, they hate you. ????? where in Poland? Certainly not the part I was in, the North west by the Baltic and Oder. We traveled all over, never were confronted by anyone hostile. We were made to feel right at home every where we traveled, outside of one stop in a wooded area where we were confronted by one of their Game Wardens or Park Police. The only other non Poles we found living there were Vietnamese in the open markets and Chinese Restaurants, which by the way, tasted like old NYC China Town. We felt very safe walking the streets, even with our German names. OH, there was one incident, he didn’t like the fact that in Feb of 1945 Americans bombed his City several times.

I meant Russians, native Russians, NOT POLES or ethnic minorities living in Poland!

If you don't believe me, read the comments in Polish forums. They are in the Polish language, naturally. It is a secrecy to none that lots of Polish speaking Russians make their comments there. Some Polish experts even claim they are so called "the agents of influence", Putin's Internet operatives whose main goal is shaping the public opinion in a particular foreign country. They are very well Polish spoken, very easy to confuse with native Poles. Their comments are USUALLY anti American, anti Jewish, anti NATO and actually anti West. They praise Russia and Putin whatever they do. In most cases they are even ridiculous and hilarious in that flattery. Nevertheless, see these websites. They are the biggest Polish news forums:
www.onet.pl and www.wp.pl .

Lets play a game. Show me any comment, just at random, to any political event news and I'll translate it to you. In 75% they will be antiPolish or anti American, antiIsraeli or pro Russian. You bet?

Polish people tell me that when it comes to the Germans and the Russians, one they fight to get even the other for fun. I know they don’t like the Germans, but they have a complete hatred towards the Russians. Watching TV in Poland I had mostly Russian programs to view.
