I was a Boy Scout in the 1970s and put my sons through the program through the 1990s. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the Boy Scouts to my grandsons.

Personally I could not care less about the sexual preferences and proclivities of grown adults. But these are kids. To sexualize an organization for kids is inexcusable. Now every man stepping up to be a Boy Scout leader is going to be under suspicion. Is he really in this to help out the kids or is he a closet pedophile looking for his next victims?

Nothing good can come of this for the BSA.

I was a Scout in the 1980s and 90s and I agree with what you said. I really do not know why they would do this. They are doing tremendous damage and they just don’t care.
