Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI) wasted no crisis knowing what and whom to blame following the devastating tornado that hit Moore, Oklahoma. Republicans caused it to happen through anthropogenic (man-caused) global warming.
When cyclones tear up Oklahoma and hurricanes swamp Alabama and wildfires scorch Texas, you come to us, the rest of the country, for billions of dollars to recover. And the damage that your polluters and deniers are doing doesnt just hit Oklahoma and Alabama and Texas.
So what about all that hot air? Is it possibly coming from none other than the senator himself? Well-respected meteorologist Joe Bastardi believes so, and will explain why.
Mr. Bastardis reputation for bold and accurate weather forecasts has landed him interviews on numerous major television programs, including Fox News Live, the OReilly Factor, Your World With Neil Cavuto, and Imus in the Morning, to name but a few. Many companies across a multitude of industries use his analytical services which correlate similarities between current and historical weather patterns to predict likely developments.

Think about it. 17 years of no warming. Yet the lifeblood of the economy is being sucked dry AGW Agenda.CLose to definition of parasite

All that money thrown down the drain at expense of you and I,without any useful or proper return. Not name calling, its the very definition!
The DOJ and IRS need to investigate this man.../s
What a great summary of how weather works!
I like the way that Joe speaks his mind and is confident enough of his skills and ability that he puts his blog behind a paid firewall. This is because he feels his information is worth paying for, unlike the garbage spewed by your average TV meteorologists. And people do sign up to pay for what Joe has to say.
Bastardi knows weather patterns, others can’t hold a candle to him. When he says something about weather, I believe it.
As much as I respect and agree with Bastardi I've come to believe it's futile to try to counter the messianic fervor of climate alarmists with facts. Popular culture has seized on climate alarmism with religious zeal, to hell with reality.
AGW has wormed its way into our culture to an extent I find unbelievable. The truth is simple to find but somehow people would much rather believe Gore's and the IPCC's nonsense. What amazes me is the extent it's penetrated into the media culture. My wife recently gave me a year's subscription to "Discover" magazine, which has fallen for the the climate scam hook, line and sinker. So much for the scientific method. I didn't renew the subscription.
Virtually every TV documentary relating to earth science contains AGW alarmism. The scam seems to be taken for granted by the media at large and our scientifically uneducated, compliant public seems to be following the propaganda like lemmings. Bless Bastardi! I hope his message somehow penetrates the Kultursmog.
Now wait a minute, CBS this morning had a panel of experts and they said this was the hottest summer on record, they had charts and everything. Besides that they said that there is more CO2 in the atmosphere now than there was thousands of years ago when the Ocean level were 60 feet higher than they are now.
It just flabbergasts me that the general population will listen to a scientific know-nothing like AlGore and ignore someone like Bastardi and others who have made meteorology and climate their life’s study. Sad. So, so, sad.
I will get a hurricane if it comes into Galveston or close to there and just before hurricane season I search out what Bastardi predicts and make plans accordingly. He says there will be more than normal hurricanes this season and some likely to go into the gulf. When one gets in the gulf, I am on alert to check every day to see where it is. The last one that came here was Ike and I don't want one that large again but whatever it is, I'm already ready for it.
Bratch, Thanks for posting “Meteorologist Joe Bastardi: Blaming Turbulent Weather On Global Warming Is Extreme Nonsense”. Joe is one of the best meterologists in the business, in my view. This entire article is a MUST read.
Not sad at all. Bastardi is making money with accurate predictions. The AGW crowd is bleeding money with inaccurate predictions. There is no future for the AGW crowd.
CO2 is only 0.04% of the earths atmosphere...about 33 molecules for every 85,800 molecules of air. 32 of these molecules of CO2 are from purely natural sources and only 1 molecule in 85,800 molecules of air are from man caused sources. To believe the global warming hoax is to believe that molecular level changes in CO2 can cause irreversible change in the global climate. If the earth’s climate hinges on molecular level changes in greenhouse gasses a single volcanic eruption would have altered our climate millions of years ago
Thanks for the ping. Man-made glow-bull warming is a scam.
