[[We are not prisoners of our sexual desires,]]

a lot of peopel however have bnought htel ie that they are- saw someoen on FR just the other day talkign abotu hteir daughter being gay and how they ‘cried and cried’ because they were gay and not accepted and thought the very same hting- why does this girl beleive she is bound to her sexual perversion? She has the strength within to overcoem the UNNAUTURAL desires that she gave herself over to willingly at soem point- she claims to be a CHristian, howebver, if that is true, then she already has the pwoer within to obey God, but rather she chooses NOT to obey Him and to be sdlave to her sexual desires instead-

On woman wrote that she had been alone for a logn time and was able to withstand the desire to sin- so she wasn’t buyign the fact the claim that hte girl ‘couldn’t help herself’ and it was true- we are NOT prisoners of our desires- We have the key to victory- it’s just that some peopel don’t want ot put the effort into gainign control over UNNATURAL desires (or even ‘natural desires’ i nthe case of heterosexual premarital sex, or affairs or whetever) to sin- it’s easier to just not resist than it is to obey God, and so a lot of peopel just stop stryign anymore- claiming falsely that they are just ‘born that way’

Well yeah- people ARE born in sin as sinners- however, God expects eaeveryone to obey Him regardless of what our feeligns are- and htat takes work- hard work- especially in today’s ‘anythign goes’ society, and havign our worlds saturated with sexual cues and filth all aroudn us where ever we go or whatever we watch- but it is still VERY possible to overcome- just like dieting- simply do what needs to be done- STOP EATING- stop feedign hte addiction- just liek smoking- STOP SMOKING- just stop feedign hte addiction- Yes, it’s hard- but it will NOT kill a pe4rson to quit- and in no time at all healthy lifestyle choices will becoem second nature and desireable and peopel will feel much much better abotu themselves as they will be free from their previous self-imposed self-desired bondage to sin

It appears that you are typing on a tablet or smart phone. Those tiny virtual keyboards are a nuisance.

But I agree with EVERYTHING you said!

I was a drug addict, but Christ set me free! I no longer need to wallow in that sinful existence. Christ even removed the desire to do drugs.

I submit that addiction to drugs is even stronger than sexual inclinations.
