Republicans and Democats salivate at the prospect of a terrified MSM.

Actually so do I. Especially if they were terrified of the public.

If my memories of those days serves me...the original hippies were actually colorful libertarians...

However, as in all “revolutionary “ movements, even those which are peaceful, the determined tyrannical and thuggish take advantage as they did in co-opting what was a relatively benign social hoopala.

Thus we had the Marxists( aka, Weather Underground) the Black panthers( who turned out to be very violent) and of course...’the progressives”—waiting in the wings for their opportunity. We also had “peaceniks” , originally of the Qauker pacifists who were co-opted by the virulent , lying anti-war groups( Kerry, Fonda, et all). David Horowitz of Frontpage explains this in great detail as he lived through this.

It is important we remember this history as it has become the lead up to the mess we are in now.

What’s really most appalling about the way these scandals are being presented is the default position of the reporting media and most pundits too—that Obama isn’t really to be linked to any of them.

RUSH: What the hell ever that means. He admits here, "I actually just want to govern, at least for a couple years." He has not started governing yet. He's got this Organizing for Action thing, which is a continuation of the campaign, the perpetual campaign. Now, according to the Limbaugh Theorem, the purpose of the ongoing campaign is to position Obama outside Washington, to position him outside the arena where events are taking place. He's outside and still fighting it all. He's outside, still trying to fix it all. He's outside. The people inside are the ones causing the problems: unemployment, plummeting home values, health care problem, whatever the problems are. They're all happening because of the insiders, people that are in government every day. He's outside still. He hasn't governed. It's a perception trick.

Of course he's governing. Don't misunderstand. I'm talking about the perception that he's creating with the perpetual campaign, the perception among low-information voters.

Dick Durbin was awful.

I swear I could punch that man and not stop until tomorrow.

He only mentioned Rove’s organization, Crossroads, he responded when Wallace asked him why he didn’t specifically mention any liberal organizations....because he knew that by mentioning one 501Cwhatevernumber that ALL of them would come under scrutiny.

Which did not happen, as we know.

What a dolt.

Below my Delaware post, done today. Someone here asked me about Delaware....there’s a rant and an update on my boundary dispute.

In short, the county backed down.

Now where do I go to get my reputation and peace of mind back?

Boundary, common core, bureacracies.

General Allen and his wife. They are decent, classy people.
What another attempt at a salacious interview.

Good Lord!

MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Pre-empted by Monaco Grand Prix.

Much better to watch the Grand Prix than listen to the "Grand Pri*ks" on MTP. I'm off to church - will try to check back in afterwords. Just wanted to say thanks again to AB! for maintaining this thread as conditions continue to deteriorate, and to give my best wishes to you all! I regret my ability to participate has been so limited, but I think of you all fondly and often.

What has happened is that there is no final ending to any story. Everything evolves. Its all in motion. Any statement made by carney/obama the rest is only good for that moment in time. The minute a statement is made it's old and outdated and subject to revisal.

AND by having so many scandal balls being juggled in the air at any one point in time, they can continue to shuffle them from front to back burner for all the good little LIV. This way no single one scandal will ever bring down this admin. Nixon was crucified on ONE LIE/COVERUP.

This is text book Cloward/Piven.

What we witnessed in 1972-4 was the Press taking down an American President. No more, no less.

What we witnessed in 1986-7, 2005-8, was a similar but failed attempt.

What we witnessed in 2008-2013 is the Press taking down the American Republic.

And what we are witnessing, right up to today and these Sunday shows, is the Press whitewashing the american President so he and they can continue taking down the American Republic.

And there’s not much we can do about it.

I’ve been doing some thinking about all these scandals.

goodness knows Rush has some ideas and like he does, I ruminate on them.

You know what I think?

Well it’s not written in stone but let me throw it out there...I think the administration wants us to know all the spying and nastiness they’ve been engaged in, they WANT US TO KNOW!!

For now it’s a thought cause that’s damn dumb to deliberately release damaging information but consider, if all of us peons knew what will befall us if we date to attack them in any form or fashion.

Also, I thought Bob Dole was pathetic. I know he’s 90 but he was pathetic when he was 70. Now he’s just an old has-been RINO who did not serve his party well and never should have been nominated.

My church was formally founded in 1801, but was in operation even earlier. We have veterans from all our major wars, including the War for Independence buried there.

We also have a research committee that places and keeps the appropriate flags on their graves, or their memorial markers for those we can’t actually locate but have records they’re buried there: US, Union, Confederate and Revolutionary War flags are all there.

After services on Memorial Day and July 4th I always walk the cemetery and pay my respects, and nowadays add a prayer for divine intervention to help us, their progeny, somehow shake of the return of the tyranny they fought and died to overcome.

May God’s Grace bless America once again, even though we have strayed so far and don’t deserve it. The young children of today, and the coming generations of the innocent unborn, however, don’t deserve to grow up as slaves, and it is for their sake I pray.

BOB DOLE resembles that remark.

Think, STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS

Per Wiki; "Strategic communication management could be defined as the systematic planning and realization of information flow, communication, media development and image care in a long-term horizon. It conveys deliberate message(s) through the most suitable media to the designated audience(s) at the appropriate time to contribute to and achieve the desired long-term effect. Communication management is process creation. It has to bring three factors into balance: the message(s), the media channel(s) and the audience(s). [emphasis mine]

Before he became Zer0's Chief of Staff, Denis McDonough was his head of Strategic Communications. I'd lay money his fingerprints are still all over this.
