The Chamber of Commerce has a highly influential seat at this table. They stand to make a killing thanks to the readily available supply of low income workers. Its just about the $ lobbyists and politicians make after selling hard working Americans down the river.

One day we will realize how much cheaper it would have been to have 2$ apples. In a sense the immigration debate is similar to the housing bubble. Private companies and politicians reap the benefits/profits and the taxpayers eat the losses for generations to come.
Congress now belongs to the highest bidder.

Congress now belongs to the highest bidder. Not since Citizens United. Now Congress belongs to the loudest speaker.
