I am from Tennessee, but I have lived in Texas and I now live in Mississippi. The result here would be much the same as in Texas.
But I wasn’t really referring to how those on the street would handle an encounter with filthy Muslims who had just hacked off a head. I meant how would our country react in the wake of such an event. Would it wake people up to the existential threat that Islam really is? How many heads would it take for people to get it? One way or another, eventually Americans will recognize the danger, just as every other culture that has ever encountered Islam eventually recognized it.

Three Jews were killed by throat slashing on 9/11 in the Boston area which is now being connected with one of the Boston bombers.
Numorous Americans have been tortured and killed and maimed in various war zones around the globe.
20some soldiers were killed at fort Hood....
crickets...
In Arizona, we would likely prop them up on planks in front of the dry goods store, and you could get your picture taken with them for a dollar.
So true. But with our government downplaying things like Boston and Ft. Hood, and arming itself against the American people, you’ve gotta wonder what our chances are once folks wake up.

Did 9-11, the Fort Hood Massacre, the Boston Marathon bombing, or the prior triple throat-cutting by one of the Boston bombers, underwear and shoe bombers, and numerous aborted plots motivate America to actually do anything? (not counting destroying civil liberties for law-abiding citizens). Apparently it takes quite a lot.
