It looks like the guy was dead after the car hit him, it would explain the lack of blood all over the street.
The car was driven onto the sidewalk and the man murdered was crushed against a street sign. If you see an overhead picture, you’ll see the blood stain on the sidewalk. It’s about 15 feet long.
