In the Good-Old-Days, it was generally believed that the “Loss of a Spouse” was the most devastating thing that could happen to a person, and that grieving was a personal matter and could take months.
Now, in this new DSM, grieving over ONE Month is considered a mental illness.
In the Good-Old-Days, we were all instructed to have Food, Water, Batteries, Flashlights, Blankets, and a First-Aid Kit as well as a SAFE PLACE to Go and a “Plan” to prepare for a natural disaster. The relatively low fatality rate in EF5 Tornado Ravaged Moore OK attests to the wisdom of this advice.
Under the new guidelines, however, “Prepping” is now considered a Mental Disorder.
I hate these guys. I really DO.
