Well Rush is approaching the end of his active career and I think he has a sense of his own mortality.
He has a new wife who led him into the tea business (Two if By Tea) instead of buying a media outlet where things could improve the mix of media.
He is also under constant attack by the libs and Obama people to intimidate his advertisers and affiliates.
The Sandra Fluke deal was overly stupid and childish and handed the enemies a cudgle - similar to the the Donovan McNabb-ESPN kerfuffle Rush would not let go for a long, long time.
He has a need to be liked (don’t we all?) and it seems to genuinely wound him when he is criticized.
Last week he weas almost begging Republican politicians to not take Obama’s bait to come out and say Rush is the problem Republicans have. You could sense he was nervous that one Rino would come out and blast him. McCain has come close.
Rush is a phenomenon. A national treasure. But he is just one guy and his career has a limit.
The whole thing saving our gun rights is the NRA. Obama goes after command and control. Tries to decapitate opposition by taking out the top. He did it with AARP selling us out on O-care. I fear for NRA and for Rush
I pray for Rush. He is a lot of what we have got to keep this country.

The main thing they all have in common is that they are not Christians. In fact, they vehemently dislike Christians because they are taught from an early age that Christians have persecuted them.
They are unfettered by Christian morality. They think that people who believe in Christian values are stupid.

I agree with the notion that King Bozo The Omnippyimpotent is coated with non stick because of the Linbaugh Theorm (which was a stroke of genius to explain exactly how His Royal High-mess is getting away with all of this) but that does not negate the fact that real crimes against this nation and its citizens have occurred...

We’re not “their” people. They’re OUR public servants.
Temporary hired help, and they should be fired and never re-hired.
If folks can devote 3 hours a day to listen to Rush, then it surprises me that they can’t take a few minutes here and there to pull up Drudge, or FR, or Breitbart, or Twitchy, or The Blaze, or any number of numerous conservative sites.
Anyone who swallows what the mainstream media dishes out is NOT going to listen to Rush. They present two diametrically opposed views.
Rush is not the only one anymore who peels back the liberal onion. He doesn’t have the corner on that market anymore. There are dozens of columnists and commentators who are just as adept at turning over the log of the liberal mindset, IMO.
One other problem with Rush. I don’t feel like paying for the podcasts and it’s very tiresome to listen to 40 mins. of non-Rush stuff for every hour of his broadcast. It’s a waste of time, IMO.
Just like the sun is setting on the mainstream media, I also believe it’s setting on conservative talk radio.
That’s for three main reasons: 1) From the time they sign off until the time they sign on again, 21 hours of news has happened (more on weekends). The news is old by the time they address it, 2) there is a plethora of conservative news sources on the web with up to date news and commentary available any time of night and day at the click of a mouse and 3) people are choosing news and commentary sources which don’t bombard them with advertising.
Obviously, you hold a different opinion and that’s fine. If you enjoy Rush, go for it. I really don’t care.
And yes, I know what the Limbaugh Theorem is.
This happened how long ago and it is now “Breaking” news? Forget that job interview at the local newspaper.

As head of the Enforcement Division of the FEC it was her role to not investigate the mounatin of overseas money rolling into the Obama campaign coffers, Remember this sort of thing from the good-government folks in Gaza?

I’m pretty sure this is just Rush being Rush.
I turned off Rush and all the other faux conservative gasbags on talk radio after the 2012 election, and I haven’t listened to them ever since.
To be honest, I haven’t been able to work up the fortitude to even read the news since Obama won. This recent cornucopia of scandals has given me a second wave, and if Rush doesn’t like it, that’s too damn bad for him.
You know what? Whites and males are the new underprivileged majority. We can start asserting our rights in the manner of Martin Luther King and Malcom X.
You will encounter leftists in the federal bureaucracy. They use their positions for political activism.
