In this case you are nuts. The Alawites are not considered moslem by most moslems ~ and in Syria the Alawite community are, by tradition, the protectors of the Christian community.

If you kill off the Alawites you kill off the Christians.

Frankly, if you want to kill the most moslems it is best to send some serious weaponry to the Alawites.

On another post today it is being reported that Iran is sending troops to support Assad along with Hezbollah.

This is a Sunni Vs Shia war and I hope they both loose.

I agree with you, as a Christian of middle eastern origin I can say from personal experience that Sunni muslims are the threat to Christianity in the region, not Shiites.

In any case we are confusing our enemies here, practically all terrorist attacks are perpetrated by Sunni muslims. Look at Iraq as an example, when Saddam was ruling over the majority Shiite country, the Sunnis were happy because they were in power, but the shiites did not suicide bomb christians and muslims and US soldiers daily. Forward to Gulf war II when Saddam was out of power, Iraq became a hotbed of Sunni jihadists who were all too content with suicide bombings and car bombs to kill and maim our soldiers, to completely destroy the Christians and even attack fellow muslims who were not as hardline as they were.

These takferiin Sunnis are the most dangerous, they even believe that if a muslim doesnt follow islam as they do then they are halal to kill. From that statement it is easy to insinuate what they would do to Christians or muslims from any other sect or any minority.

Sunnis have a goal to spread their version of islam globally, that is my enemy. I dont care about the shiites, they are not my enemy, they are concentrated in 3 or 4 countries and can be easily dealt with if they get out of hand.
The real enemy are the oil rich gulf states that are using their money to control us into doing what they want. They are financing these jihadists, who will move from country to country achieving their goals, of complete sunni dominance in the middle east and the muslim world. Theyre spreading through europe like a plague, increasing their numbers every year until it will get to a point where europe will burst.

The true enemy is not a country or a person. It is a faith and a belief system, a political system. That system is Sunni Islam. If people on here cannot even identify their real enemies, then we have no chance in hell that the country as a whole will able to.

I also hate the concept of “ yeah lets let them kill each other. Yay!” because the number one victim in all these countries are the Christians. Coptic, Orthodox, and soon to be Maronite Christians who’s families and churches have been there since the beginning of Christianity. Those are the real victims. I pray for the day that I see just 1% of the support to those Christians as we show to the Israelis.(Don’t misunderstand me, they need our support aswell!)

We should really be letting our representatives know, that we do not accept sending weapons to our enemies, to Al Qaeda terrorists, to people who will destroy christian communities in the middle east and who will eventually turn on Israel.

This quote has been overused to no end but still very apt. “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”
