That VA Dems would even entertain the notion of running a disastrous retread ultraleftist like McAuliffe gives the appearance that they weren't serious with trying to defeat Cuccinelli.

That retread is tied or leading already. McAuliffe is one of the best fundraisers in the world, and he's attached to the hip to the Clinton's who are very popular in NoVa. Despite the fact that TerryMac comes off as a used car salesman, he will not be easy to beat. I really do hope you are right, but as a long time VA resident I suspect Jackson was not a good choice, will lose badly, and will end up hurting us up and down the ticket. He's a good man, but he strikes me as more the radio personality type and less an electable politician. I'd have much rather seen someone like Corey Stewart get the nod - someone who has proven they can win general elections in NoVa (Prince William County).

Anyway, here's to hoping I am wrong.

Gotta stop looking at Democrat push polls of registered voters, which are less than useless. They’re only gonna give you ulcers. I’ve not seen one reliable poll of likely voters that had McAuliffe ahead.
