Virginia GOP nominee compared Planned Parenthood to KKK

An outspoken and provocative conservative who emerged from Saturday's Republican Party of Virginia Convention as the party's nominee for lieutenant governor once compared Planned Parenthood to the Ku Klux Klan and blasted African-Americans for their "slavish devotion" to the Democratic Party.

E.W. Jackson, an African-American pastor and attorney from Chesapeake, made the comments in a self-produced "message to black Christians" posted on YouTube last year.

"The Democrat Party has created an unholy alliance between certain so-called civil rights leaders and Planned Parenthood, which has killed unborn black babies by the tens of millions. Planned Parenthood has been far more lethal to black lives than the KKK ever was," he said in the video. "And the Democrat Party and the black civil rights allies are partners in this genocide."

Sensing an opportunity to tie Jackson to the rest of the Republican ticket in Virginia, especially conservative gubernatorial nominee Ken Cuccinelli, Democrats have already started highlighting those remarks and others in emails to reporters.

Turning off soft republicans is no big thing. Getting out real republicans and Conservatives is the way you win elections. One way you encourage Republican voters is you trash the Democrats for being the scum rats and baby killers they really are.

Make the Democrats defend chopping up babies like so many pieces of meat.

Aneesh Chopra will turn off more folks than he turns on. He gets that Congress party commie slant from his mumsy and daddy ~ even the Indians have tired of that nonsense. I doubt he’ll do well at all in any potential statewide election.

That’s even assuming he gets the nomination. State Sen. Ralph Northam, who is White, is running, and he is touting his Washington Compost endorsement. It’ll be funny if the “party of diversity” runs an “All White” ticket in VA in ‘13. The Dems might claim they elected the first Black Governor, but that was a quarter-century ago. What have they done lately ? Bishop Jackson is front and center for the GOP.

You don't think McDonnell can beat Horseface?

I think McDonnell’s popularity has declined. 4 years ago, I think he could’ve put the execrable Warner away... now, it might end up similar to Allen vs. Kaine. Depends what the climate is like next year, but there doesn’t seem to be a big effort on the part of the VA GOP to target Warner and drive up his negs in the same way the Dems went after Allen.
