In general, this is the way liberals think, and specifically, this is Obama's belief. liberal foreign policy can be likened to Nicholas Berg, who thought his good intentions toward the enemy and his affinity for their cause would shield him from harm.

Al Queda is not the Dems enemy. Given how the Dems have worked to make it easier for them to infiltrate our nation and they’ve given weapons and money to them, it’s quite obvious that the Dems are friends of AQ and should be treated as the traitors they are.

Before providing the weapons the incompetent staties, did not confirm the recipients were friends.
You arm them when you want them to take out witnesses and tie-off any loose ends.
