What is needed is a Judge Sirica (Watergate fame) to give immunity/plea deals to guilty IRS agents and managers that talk and finger superiors.
Get some convictions going, and lips will start wagging.
That was exactly what broke open the Watergate scandal. But I doubt there is an equivalent of Judge Sirica today. Everyone involved will get slaps on the wrists and soft landings.
We conservatives like to criticize zer0bama for his terrible leadership abilities, but on this aspect he knows what he’s doing. Everyone who gets thrown under the bus gets a bunch of pillows, a cushy job and a very soft landing.
