Earlier, there was a tornado north of Brownwood, TX by the lake. No real damage but the cell headed east to Comanche where it hit again but I haven’t heard any more. Brownwood is at the southern part of that trail of storms.

I’m in York, PA, and we have some very red cells moving up the coast towards us, again. Nothing big yet, but that could change, quickly. Take care, FRiend.

Glad you are safe. One reporter said that 4 people were pulled out of debris and one was a tiny baby. God help OK!

“With the “narrow” path of a tornado”

This tornado was TWO MILES WIDE.

That’s why NBC purchased the WC.
To spread the gospel of “climate change”
People believe it because the WC has been around a long time and used to actually be pretty credible.

I am below a hill, so sometimes it is deceiving. Years ago I left the house to go run errands and got to top of hill and a sandstorm was raging and swinging light poles and stop signs..it was crazy. I had no idea. Lol. Hurricane force winds blowing dirt.

I hear ya...
We had one come through here in Hampton Roads, VA a few years back. It hit in the late afternoon and cut a swath through a neighborhood and grazed a hospital. The thing that freaked out everyone was the idea it could have hit at night.
Here’s an idea: let’s stop funding some of the BS stuff we fund with our tax money and spend it on research and development for tornedo survival structures and better warning systems...

That southern cell SW of Fort Worth stopped its NE movement and moved straight east a bit. No telling where that beast is going to go.

I stand by my post. One school apparently didn't even have a shelter....the terrified kids in the halls were literally told to "hang on to the walls" by the teachers. One teacher threw her body over a couple kids. We'll see how many underground shelters there were in the other schools.

There are kids injured and some are still missing. Notice was given yesterday that there'd probably be storms in the same general area again today. The schools shouldn't have opened this morning because it gave a false sense of security. Schools are not impervious just because they're big and brick.

However, if I had school-age children, they wouldn't have been in ANY school this morning. Nor would they be in my house, nor in my trailer, nor in my mansion.

My entire imaginary family would have hit the road out of Dodge during the night or early morning and would have been 200-300 miles away staying in a Comfort Inn till all was clear back in Moore and surrounding towns.

Schools or homes, you don't fool with Mother Nature.

Leni

And the exploding flashes of transformers. That is all that warned me of a tornado that hit my house! Not much time to get myself and my dogs into an interior hallway on the floor. I was trying for the bathroom but could not make it. No warnings on TV, Radio or sirens. The weather guys who came out of Jackson, Ms said the town I was in was just below the range of their radar and they did not see it. Investigation says it was an F2.

We couldn’t see a darn thing until the lighting struck.

In my experience, you still can't tell what you are seeing in the lightening flash. Especially rain wrapped funnels. Just flash light and blackness.
