Our primaries are set up in such a way that when 2 conservatives run against a moderate, the moderate will always win, thus corker and halsam. Neither conservative would back down, not even the one with the worst polling numbers. Who should have stepped down and thrown his/her weight to the leader, and we would have had conservatives in these positions. I only hope lamar retires this year, other wise another 6 years of the doddering old 70+ year old fool moderate to willing to cross the isle, like corker, money and power before the people and Constitution. Both have made themselves extremely wealthy up there.
