I think it's more a matter of her having to defend him because she is the most responsible for his destruction. Remember the different certification forms she signed? If it all unravels and his forged documents are finally brought to light in the MSM, she can't possibly deny knowledge of it because she signed the different forms. If he goes down, she's going with him.
