Only one thing comforts me when I hear about the electeds selling us out.

Although deeply saddened and perhaps dropped to my knees in poverty and grief. I will NEVER feel the regret of having caused a Nation to fall-not like they will, if they have any conscience.

If I ever get the chance to turn these traitors down when they ask for a bite of bread....well, hell, I’ll give them the bread because that’s who I am, but not without pouring out my disdain first.

It may be more blessed to give than to receive, but there’s got to be conditions on generosity. In situations such as the ones you’re referring to, history shows receivers usually don’t appreciate what they’re given; in fact it usually encourages them to demand even more.

Before giving, there has to be a positive action (initiative or sacrifice) on behalf of the reicpient. Otherwise the gift can actually be destructive in the long run.
