President Ford, err, Biden?

I never thought that I would be saying this, but it’s time we started addressing Joe Biden as “Mr. President.” The U.S. Constitution stipulation of “high crimes and misdemeanors” is vast, but abuse of power and serious misconduct in office certainly fits this category.

Andrew Johnson, the 17th President of the United States, was impeached for challenging the Tenure of Office Act (1867) which prohibited the president from dismissing office holders without the Senate’s approval. Johnson tested this federal law by acting alone and firing Secretary of War Edwin Stanton, thus his action was the basis for impeachment. However, the Senate did not convict and Johnson finished out his term.

Richard Nixon, the 37th U.S. President, is synonymous with Watergate, a failed attempt at burglarizing Democratic Party headquarters at the Watergate complex. The subsequent cover-up along with the refusal to turn over evidence — in addition to illegal wiretapping, misuse of the CIA, perjury, bribery, and obstruction of justice — led the House Judiciary Committee to issue three articles of impeachment. Nixon ultimately resigned, choosing to discontinue his second term in office.

That led to the Joe Biden of that time, Gerald Ford becoming president.

Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States, is best known for one name — Monica Lewinsky....

I’d say President Boehner is at least as scary, since the entire Hussein ticket was fraudulent.

Let the anti-birther “freepers” flame away.

Even in his current state (deceased), President Ford is/was vastly more qualified than Joe Biden.

Biden is no Ford.

He serves the same function as Agnew - impeachment insurance.

No nothing is going to happen to Zero. First, don’t think GOP have the stamina for impeachment. Plus, all the powers that be are all for this guy. His antics have been bad enough—but we are living in such a self imposed bubble most of the time that something has to happen that will really shake the $hit out of us which will make US public call for impeachment. I think attitude large is—politicians doing what politicians do.

So the strategy should be to first eliminate Joe Biden from his present post as Vice President, either by declaration of unfitness for the office (the guy is clearly senile), or by “encouraging” him to resign from the position “for reasons of health”.

Then the next step is to find some Democrat that is not a complete America-phobe, and have the House of Representatives elevate that person to the Vice Presidency. Then we may go after the Current Occupant with a little less reluctance, forcing his exit from office by resignation (impeachment is possible, but the Senate will never convict).

But for that, we need some tame Democrats to even agree to this course of action. That may be harder than it looks.

George Soros has a HUGE stake in whomever occupies the White Hut. That is one very difficult problem to be solved in this chess game before its resolution and checkmate is even possible.

idiotic author. There is absolutely no comparison between Biden and Ford.

Ford was a gentleman and kind. Can we cay that about Biden.

That would be for starters, not to mention how Ford really became President, which has no comparison to Biden’s possible ascension or any other Vice President as he was the first to fulfill the 25th amendment of ascension process.

He is the only person to have been sworn into the Presidency having neither being elected to the Vice Presidency or President.

(sigh)....once again, people....

They AIN’T GONNA IMPEACH THE FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT!

We’re gonna have to be satisfied with watching Barry being tortured by committees and prosecutors, all the while blowing gaskets because his agenda is D.O.A.

I am afraid you might be right. Most of America won’t be bothered to turn off Mad Men or Dancing with the Stars to go protest or demand that Obama be tossed.

No, I firmly believe that the shooting will have started by the time that most Americans wake up...and then it might be too late.

True that. Republicans don’t have the fire in the belly. Also they’re rich elitists (as are Dems) who stand to profit from Zero staying in office.
