It’s very hard to believe that they obtained phone records without also tapping the phones. In the case of the House telephone, how would they know which congressman made the call and was it passing “secrets”? There are 435 members of the House and any one of them could have placed a call.

DOJ could have simply requested phone traffic logs from the providers....but that’s not what they said they did..is it? They recorded conversations too,,it’s just a matter of time before that gets recognized.

Actually, from everything I have read on this subject so far, all they did was get the phone logs. No evidence (so far) that they recorded conversations. If someone has proof to the contrary, please let me know.
