As revelations about how extensive the Internal Revenue Service scrutiny of conservative groups applying for a certain tax-exempt status continue, some have asked about the status of President Barack Obama's campaign arm-turned grassroots lobbying group.
Organizing for Action, as it's now called, has not yet filed for tax-exempt status. Officials with the group say they are only in their fourth month of existence and federal law says it has two years to file paperwork with the IRS, though they plan on operating in the same manner as the targeted groups.
"In carrying its work, OFA will operate as a 'social welfare' organization within the meaning of section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code," the group's website states.

No problem. If they get in trouble for anything, they’ll apply then. Approval will be retroactive to whatever date is needed just like Obama’s brother. It’s a get out of jail free card.
You can bet that this is going to get red hot as there are many Tea Party Republican members elected in 2010 and 2012 that know there was voter suppression now because of the IRS issues with the Tea Party groups. Rush is just talking about it. This will be a BIG BIG storm in Washington.
There is NO WAY that “Organizing for Action” is a nonprofit or “social” group. I have emails from them that are as purely pro-Obama and pro-Democrat as they come, urging people to lobby for whatever Obama is lobbying for that day. They might get away with calling themselves a political PAC.
