We are involved in Syria; gun-running to rebels.

What, Exactly, Does Boehner Know About the U.S. Gun-Running Allegations in Libya? These Comments Raise Questions
Jan. 24, 2013

(snip)

Speaking with conservative author and pundit Laura Ingraham on her radio broadcast Wednesday, Boehner noted that he is aware that there was a potential gun-running scheme at play and that his information on the matter has come from a “classified source.”

“I’m somewhat familiar with the chatter about this and the fact that these arms were moving towards Turkey, but most what I know about this came from a classified source,” Boehner told Ingraham before adding that he could not “elaborate on it.”

Does Boehner mean that the theory is being discussed behind closed, classified doors, or does the government have classified information corroborating the scheme that it is not sharing? Do Republicans know more than they’re letting on? Who is the classified source and is the government investigating this theory to the fullest extent possible? Questions abound.

I can only guess.but I'd guess he did.
I think we should bury his phone lines and email with complaints.
Here are the ones that have earned my contempt.
The GOP is full of VILE members who'll sell us out in a heartbeat!

Here are the ones that I know about.
What do we do when our side is full of TRAITORS?
I submit the following for proof.

Check out this link, "Senate Republicans Willfully and Knowingly Lie to Their Constituents (vote to fund Obamacare)".And let's not forget Sen. John McCain, one of Conservatives worst enemies, saying 'I don't understand' GOP filibuster on guns.
Thanks to Cyropaedia for this:

Boehner is only interested in making deals. Every deal gives him a chip to cash in at the next deal. Let’s look at recent history.

First there was the debt deal and the “super committee”. Of course this could take action before the election, that would be “politicizing” things.

Having setup the next deal we come to the “fiscal cliff”. Another capitulation, BUT there is now another deal off in the future: Sequestration.

This is how Boehner operates. Endless capitulations to keep the game going. Trading chips. Making deals.

He is a vile leach.

Failing to thoroughly investigate Benghazi, not just the cover-up, marks him as a disloyal American.

The IRS crime is serious. If Obama is connected he will be impeached. But I’m sure he either kept it at a remove or it will be made to look that way. In the end he will not be impeached over the IRS.

Benghazi on the other hand is all his.

But just like Clinton was not impeached for Loral, Obama will not be impeached for Benghazi. Why? Because the Republicans will not pursue it. They will focus on IRS. They will be exactly off target, just like with Clinton - go after Lewinsky rather than Loral. Now they will go after IRS and not Benghazi, or if they do it will be the coverup.

The Benghazi operation will be protected. UNLESS - we raise alot of noise.

The ‘Rats did the dirty work for the Gelding Old Party. The GOP is high fiving behind closed doors. There is one party on the Potomac ... the criminal party.

The most obvious explanation is that Boehner is another big government plant in the republican party that somehow has enough talent to rise to a leadership position but then immediately has no talent to defend the country against the crafty democrats undermining the Constitution and the nation.
He's scum.

Issa is doing such a good job on his own that the appointment of a special committee runs the risk of interfering with Issa’s investigation by adding even more blow-hards to the process from both parties who are more interested in hearing themselves speak than in conducting a serious investigation.

I’m sure this is not Boner’s excuse, but it is a legitimate reason to retain the status quo.

Agreed. The Democrat-Republican Party. The ruling DRP has run unopposed for a long long time. That needs to change. And soon, if we are to survive.

Given the man’s history here it is not terribly clear just what his game is or whose side he is on.

Issa is doing great at the moment.

If key people don't voluntarily come forward to testify, then subpeonas will become necessary and a select committee should be created.

Also, don't do the select committee too soon...let's string this thing out.

I'm sure I am in the extreme minority here, but I don't want a Select Committee either. It'll give the Rats an opportunity to drag it out for months just seating the members, and we'll end up with one full of Pickerings. Just give Oversight subpoena power and let them work.

We need a way to take these things out of the hands of congress.

A Secial Prosecutor would do. But no Select Committee.
