Here's the gist: the Obama Administration may have used the frightening enforcement power of the IRS for political gain. With the President's acquiescence, the IRS harassed any political enemies of Obama, and may have passed confidential tax filing information from Conservative political action committees (PAC's) to Liberal PAC's--a gigantic violation of multiple Federal laws in regards to tax information privacy and disclosure.
One angle we have yet to hear about is whether the IRS was ordered to harass conservative talk show hosts besides Mark Levin (whose case is well-documented). If we find out the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity were also targets of IRS harassment, this scandal with the IRS will become "top of fold front page" news, and that could be the end of President Obama.
Rush sure got harassed by the former NY State guvnah.
