Nope, they can't. Most of us, when our sins are exposed, feel shameful. It's not that way with homosexuals and lesbians. Once their sin is exposed, they are proud and happy. No wonder this kind of sin is an abomination to God. We are supposed to be ashamed of sin, which is why we keep it in the closet. These people adore their sin. They are like Satan, who adores lies and confusion.

Actually the prefix "homo" in the word "homosexual" does not refer to "man", as in "homo sapiens". If means "the same", as in homonym (means the same) or homophone (sounds the same). So "homosexual" means anyone who has a same-sex attraction, whether that be men or women. Lesbian is simply a word that specifically describes female homosexuals.

You missed my point. There are two distinct origins for the prefix "homo". The root "homo" in the word "homosexual" comes from the Greek word "homos", meaning "same". Your quote comes from Latin. The Latin word "homo" means "man". So to say a woman is a "lesbian homosexual" would indeed be redundant.
