I heard the breaking news story about how Holder grabbed AP’s phone records about a story that was reportedly leaked about an event in Yemen that is embarrassing the 0 administration. The AP broke the news on Monday about what it called an “unprecedented intrusion” into its operation. It said that the DOJ had obtained detailed phone records from over 20 different lines, potentially monitoring hundreds of different journalists without notifying the organization. The wire service’s president, Gary Pruitt, wrote a blistering letter to Attorney General Eric Holder, accusing the DOJ of violating the AP’s constitutional rights.

Wasn't this what Rupert Murdoch was accused of doing over in the UK? As I recall the left over here went crazy over that.

I predict the press acts indignant. I predict we will see a lot of tsk-tsk-ing by pundits from both sides.

I predict the MSM will say it’s done its job by talking about these “problems” for the Obama administration.

I predict no further action takes place and a month or two from now we are all sitting around saying, “How does he keep getting away with this crap?”
