My cousins carried the gene from their mother who died after a long protracted battle with breast cancer. One cousin died at 32 and the rest had preventive mastectomy. They are cancer free and have lived a long time.
The gene carriers really are living with a time bomb.
I have a relative who did the same exact thing based on the same exact reasons.
